Argentinian by nationality, Dr Rabetino's career in academia began with work as a lecturer and researcher at the University of General Sarmiento in Argentina and then as an Adjunct Professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain. He has also worked as a Senior Consultant for Crowe Horwath Accelera Management (Barcelona, Spain).

Teaching Interests

The programme is practically oriented and focuses on the three main areas of strategic management: strategic analysis, strategic choice and strategy implementation.

Annika Tidström, Associate Professor

  • Docent/Associate professor / Åbo Akademi University (Turku, Finland)

Dr. Tidström's career in the academic sector started first as an Assistant Professor at Hanken School of Economics and then as an Associate Professor at University of Vaasa. She is also working with companies and organizations as an educator and consultant.

Teaching Interests

Annika has extensive experience of teaching various subjects, such as business development, project management, coopetition strategy, entrepreneurship and conflict management, in different business schools and universities. The feed-back of her teaching is generally very good and she has also received a national teaching award.

Anne-Maria Holma, Assistant Professor

Biography

Anne-Maria Holma obtained her PhD in Marketing from Hanken School of Economics in Finland. She had a Post-Doctoral position at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, in the department of Industrial Marketing. She has extensive practical experience in selling and purchasing business services.

Teaching Interests

Anne-Maria has experience of teaching several subjects in different universities, such as business-to-business relationships and networks, services purchasing, and supply chain management, both in doctoral and in Master's level. She has also experience of MBA-education, and adult training.

Teaching interests

Dr. Bäck’s teaching interests include case studies in strategic management area. Real-world managerial challenges, practical thinking and problem-based learning are emphasized in his teaching activities. All the teaching is carried out in close collaboration with local industry.

Marko Kohtamäki, Professor

Biography

Teaching Interests

Prof. Kohtamäki's teaching interests include theoretical perspectives and case studies in strategic management, inter-organisational networks and industrial services. In all of his teaching, Prof. Kohtamäki highlights the importance of practical knowledge:

"Our programme focuses on practice and empirical research. During classes, participatory teaching methods and case-based learning techniques are adopted."

For example, students are asked to select an industry they are interested in and which they see as potential employer in order to carry out a three-month analysis. In doing so, they learn how to use different strategic tools to conduct strategic analysis, as well as to develop and implement strategy; they understand how particular industries work, and the type of services they are offering.

Prof. Kohtamäki has published approximately 25 journal articles in highly ranked international journals (including Industrial Marketing Management, the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing) and 80 conference papers and book articles.

He is currently the co-director of the Network Value Systems research programme and manages a research team on Industrial Service Strategy and Networks.
